Web Designer/Developer – Bonita Springs

LW Marketing is looking for a superhero mid-level Web Designer/Developer to take on the deluge from our ever-expanding client base. This is a full-time gig on-site.

We need you to have:

An online portfolio that shows us you’re ready to grab a project on DAY 1 and kill it — it should display a sensibility for clean, clear, elegant and simple design/user experience.
3+ years of real-world production experience
Proficiency in all things Adobe
An epic stranglehold on CSS
Ability to wireframe and design sites from scratch
Experience/comfort developing custom sites/templates in WordPress
Experience developing unbreakable HTMLs for e-blasts
A general understanding of JS, PHP, JQuery, and MySql
Experience with and understanding of User Interface Design, Social Design, E-commerce Design and Application Design
Knowledge of SEO best practices
Strong communication skills and ability to work in an open, collaborative environment
Willingness to troubleshoot basic day-to-day office computer/networking issues
Ability to work within aggressive project timelines on multiple/simultaneous projects
Experience working on a Mac platform
Ability to translate designs into WP/HTML
Ability to keep a lot of secrets… we work under NDAs and wicked levels of confidentiality
Some level of proficiency with basic e-commerce websites

This is a position for someone looking to get in on the ground floor with a young and exponentially-growing marketing/interactive company.

Overall, we’re looking for an enthusiastic, smart, dependable team player to join our group of escaped mental institution inmates. We have a blast all week at work but if you don’t like dogs, foul language or working overtime to perpetuate the awesomeness, then piss off — this isn’t the place for you. We have a work-hard, play-hard mindset and are seeking a like-minded person. *previous agency experience is a ginormous plus

Responsibilities for our new friend :

Build client sites and landing pages from the ground up writing clean, seo-friendly code
Build/deploy email marketing campaigns that are bulletproof [won’t pull apart and look like shit in Outlook/Gmail/Hotmail/AOL/etc.]

Perform maintenance and updates to existing sites
Occasionally work directly with clients during the dev phase of their projects and/or resolve technical issues with their sites
Assist in developing customized site development proposals, as needed
Assist with basic around-the-office IT functions — email/mac setup, general troubleshooting, etc.
