In this role, you’ll be responsible for assisting with project coordination and sales tasks, and will report directly to our Project Manager.

To be considered for this position you should be marketing- and web-savvy, and have some general knowledge in print, social media, advertising, and project coordination. It’s a ginormous plus if you have stellar copywriting and editing skills.

Must-haves for the new accomplice in our quest to overtake the world [it’s a mixed bag, so if you like to do the same thing all day Monday to Friday, this is not for you] :

• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, advertising, marketing or business or relevant experience.
• Meticulous attention to detail and desire for perfection.
• Working well with others and working well under pressure with deadlines set to yesterday.
• Tracking and Filing – must stay up to date with all proposals.
• Announcements – The marketing assistant is responsible for compiling lists and storing information for all promotions that might affect company. Promotions would include emails, mailings, etc.  Therefore the assistant would keep track of email blast lists, mailing lists and reporting updates.
• Material + Supply Ordering – The assistant will order print collateral to complete marketing campaigns, document and provide necessary receipts to accounting.
• Campaign Tracking – The assistant will track all the uses of the campaign materials. This material is vital for building an active and relevant database of customers and users in order to reach out to them for the next campaign.
• General Assistant Duties – The marketing assistant will handle email, mailing, phones, printing, copying and any other needs of the team. It is important that the assistant be able to multi-task and be highly organized.
• Assisting in writing, tracking and delivery of press releases.
• Assist sales in developing and maintaining sales proposals as needed (including quotes/pricing for print work, mailing list acquisition, and promotional products).
• Assist with client follow up on projects as needed (ex. Email a proof or revision, follow up on acquiring revisions if we haven’t heard from the client).
• Manage client expectations, communicate updates and ensure client satisfaction.
• Act as liaison with clients, in absence of marketing executives as needed.

• Assist in researching/prepping for (and could attend) tradeshows, company sponsored promotions and events.
• Monitoring online LW or client blogs as needed.
• Ability to operate under solid pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Work collaboratively as a team member/team player.
• Marketing research as needed.
• Ability to keep lots of secrets…we work under NDAs and wicked levels of confidentiality.

Other essentials:

• Background in marketing a must.
• Previous web experience a must.
• Super-human time management skills.
• Epic attention to detail.
• Must not be afraid of MACs!  We are a MAC-based agency.
• Previous agency experience is a HUGE plus!
• Previous PR experience is a major plus.
• Strong copywriting and editing skills.
• Being a former circus juggler would help a lot.
