We anchor our environmental efforts where we live and work.
What Our Senior Management Does
- Support the restoration and conservation of Estero Bay, Florida, through funding, volunteering, and awareness, often in partnership with FLERAF.ORG.
- Prefer suppliers with measurable environmental practices and lower footprints.
- Reduce internal waste and emissions through smarter travel, energy-efficient office operations, and digital-first workflows.
2025–2027 targets
- Annual funding + in-kind hours dedicated to Estero Bay initiatives.
- Year-over-year reductions in office waste and non-essential travel.
- Publish an annual summary of environmental actions and outcomes.
2) Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) — A Culture Where Everyone Belongs
Inclusion is a daily practice and a leadership priority.
What we do
- Inclusive hiring: Structured interviews, diverse candidate slates, skills-based assessments, and accessible job postings.
- Pay equity & advancement: Annual compensation reviews, clear leveling, and transparent growth paths.
- Learning & voice: Ongoing DEI, anti-bias, and bystander-ally training; regular listening sessions; anonymous feedback channels.
- Accessibility & flexibility: Reasonable accommodations, ergonomic/accessible workspaces, and flexible practices that support well-being.
- Supplier diversity: Seek and track spend with diverse-owned vendors
- 2025–2027 targets: Annual pay-equity analysis with published remediation steps.
- Increase representation of underrepresented groups in hiring pipelines and leadership consideration slates.
- 100% employee completion of DEI and anti-bias training annually.
- Track and grow diverse-supplier spend year over year.
3) Social Responsibility — Investing in People & Community
Our people and neighbors are at the heart of our work.
What we do
- Maintain a respectful, in-office culture that balances high standards with support—we celebrate wins and make it fun every day.
- Provide learning platforms, mentorship, and cross-functional opportunities.
- Fund Endowed Scholarship support for marine research at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) to build the next generation of scientists and community leaders focused on Estero Bay and the Gulf region.
- Offer paid time for eligible volunteer activities.
2025–2027 targets
- Report participation in learning and mentoring; increase volunteer hours year over year.
- Maintain or increase contributions to FGGU marine-research scholarships and student opportunities.
- Publish an annual culture snapshot (engagement themes, development participation, retention).
4) Governance with Integrity — Compliance by Design

- Rigorous data protection and privacy practices; audit-ready documentation; MDF/Co-op compliance in partner ecosystems (e.g., Microsoft).
- Vendor Code of Conduct with periodic reviews of security, labor, environmental, and DEI posture.
- Executive oversight of ESG & DEI goals; progress reviewed quarterly and summarized annually.
2025–2027 targets
- 100% of applicable marketing programs documented to audit-ready standards.
- Annual ESG/DEI review completed by leadership with published highlights and goals.
How We Measure Progress
We track a concise set of metrics and share a yearly update:
- Environmental: Contributions and hours for Estero Bay projects; office waste/travel trends.
- DEI: Representation snapshots, hiring-pipeline diversity, pay-equity results, DEI training completion, diverse-supplier spend.
- Social: Learning participation, volunteer hours, FGCU scholarship support.
- Governance: Security training completion, audit pass rates, supplier adherence to our code.
Accountability & Reporting
- Oversight: ESG & DEI are integrated into our quarterly leadership cadence.
